2010 MIDWINTER MEETING
HOTEL INFORMATION
Our sponsor hotel this year is the Mutiny Hotel of Coconut Grove.
It faces Biscayne Bay (though no beach) and is in close proximity to restaurants,
art galleries, and night spots. Reservations can only be made by phone: 888-868-8469.
Early registration is essential because the room rates are only good until the hotel is 80% full,
and it is a relatively small hotel. We will occupy at least 50% of the rooms.
To get the group rate, please specify that you are attending the meeting of the
Society for Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology.
All the rooms of the Mutiny Hotel are suites, with a bedroom, full kitchen, and sofa bed
(one-bedroom with balcony, $189). This will allow you to share rooms, if you desire.
The two-bedroom suites have 2-3 beds, plus a sofa bed, and a full kitchen ($259).
If you are interested in the least expensive room (one-bedroom without a balcony, $169),
you should specify that choice when you register.
Blaine Fowers, our local host and program committee member, has graciously consented to
work with students and other attendees who would like to share a room but don't have a
particular roommate in mind. He will try to arrange room sharing if you contact him:
bfowers@miami.edu.
Please direct any questions about the rooms to the Mutiny Hotel.
If the Hotel cannot help, and you have a location question, please contact Blaine,
bfowers@miami.edu.
For program questions, please contact Brent Slife,
slife@byu.edu.
